Our vision

To Create Next Generation Products & Solutions That Will Change Lives

For over 38 years, Hydramet Engineering, LLC., has been a distributor of on-site chlorine generation technology of sodium hypochlorite. Nowadays, the company manufactures its own on-site hypochlorite generation system, under the brand "Hydramet," to disinfect water in multiple industries worldwide. Our company produces five products based on a unique technology that uses common table salt and A/C or D/C electricity to produce the disinfectant agent "Sodium Hypochlorite." Our equipment requires minimal training, as it is an easy-to-operate and maintain system. Hydramet Engineering, LLC. has over 10,000 units operating worldwide, providing billions of liters of chlorine for disinfection applications every day in more than 44 countries in North, Central, and South America, as well as in Europe, Africa, and Asia. Time-tested and accepted in the global market, the Hydramet product line is used and/or funded by numerous multinational organizations and governments.

Hydramet Engineering, LLC.

Business Unit

Hydramet Engineering, LLC. has developed a unique family of high-performance on-site chlorine generation systems based on low-cost technology and operational requirements. The five products range from a small unit (AC-25), which disinfects 300,000 liters of water per day at 2 ppm (parts per million) of Cl2, to its largest unit (AC-200), which disinfects 2.4 million liters of water per day at 2 ppm Cl2. Our systems are exceptionally cost-effective and provide sustainable solutions, using only common salt and electricity, to disinfect water for thousands of people. These time-tested systems, adopted by the global market, are designed for municipal, industrial, and emergency markets worldwide, especially those in developing countries.

Key features of the Hydramet product family include:

  • Producing water disinfectant (sodium hypochlorite) on-site at the point of use.
  • Only requiring common salt, water, and electricity (A/C or D/C from solar panels).
  • Extremely easy to operate and maintain. No need for qualified operators or special training.
  • The best alternative to gaseous chlorine and other disinfectants such as granular calcium hypochlorite or commercial sodium hypochlorite for eliminating waterborne diseases such as cholera.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide affordable and effective on-site chlorine generation solutions for municipal, industrial, and humanitarian applications worldwide. We believe that reliable on-site chlorine production is essential for modern disinfection and that no one should have to suffer from waterborne illnesses due to a lack of resources. Through our Portable Sodium Hypochlorite Generators, we aim to empower communities to take control of their water supply and improve their quality of life. We are committed to sustainability, social responsibility, and continuous innovation in the pursuit of our mission.

Our Vision

Our vision is to create a world where reliable on-site chlorine generation is available for every industry, regardless of their socio-economic status or geographic location. We envision a future where communities in developing countries have the tools and resources they need to produce fresh chlorine on site for any required disinfection application. Through our Portable Sodium Hypochlorite Generators, we aim to be a catalyst for positive change, empowering communities to take charge of their water supply and transform their health and well-being. We strive for a sustainable future, where every individual has the opportunity to thrive and reach their full potential.
